build in transducer

About to drop the hammer on a new Fortrex 80 for my 09 ZX190, and going with Helix 7 Chirp Mega DI G3 for the bow.
The Helix comes with transom mount Mega DI transducer, but Hummingbird will trade it for a Trolling motor transducer.

My question?

Is the built in Mega DI transducer on the Fortrex worth the extra on the Fortrex? $300 bucks is $300 bucks. I've never had any issue with strapping transducers to the trolling motor before.

What say you?

I think its all preference. I have MDI transducer mounter to my ultrex.

Yea i would spend that money to go to an ultrex..
