    Trailer Ground Wire

Recently had trouble with my stop/turn signals on my 2009 trailer. While getting that straightened out, noticed the ground wire from the harness attaches to front of trailer and all lights are grounded to frame. I'll be running new grounds, but wonder if the following method would have any benefits. I can run a ground wire around the perimeter of the trailer and join the 2 ends to the harness ground. On an old hvac system, we called something similar with ductwork a perimeter loop.

    What do you think? Suggestions?

I think that would work but i would run 1 down each side and dead end it to the tail lights
