Praying Can’t get to Full throttle

Gents I owned my boat a little over a year and have been unable to reach speeds others have posted , I found my throttle was not fully opening when the hotfoot was pressed. As I investigated I noticed the throttle rod hitting the vapor separator (see pic). Has anyone seen this before and what parts need to be replaced? I noticed mercury has updated several related parts like throttle leaver and cam assembled.
    2009 mercury 250 pro xs, ser# 1b747485.

It’s not the hotfoot, it’s the throttle link hitting the vapor separator

Something is loose. Check the pivot fastener for the throttle arm.

I got it fixed... I pulled it down, everything seemed tight. I adjusted the throttle link screw on the throttle arm so I could get to wide open, throttle was about 3/8” from wide open. Now it’s right. Thanks again.
