    New Trailer Cost?

I was wondering if anyone knew a ballpark price of what a new Basscat trailer would cost for a Cougar?

Isn't Basscat one of the only boat companies making their trailers? That's pretty pricey but they're high quality.. My pontoon boat trailer was less than half that--despite being twice as much metal.

Metal is not that expensive on a trailer in the scope of things. At BCB we use all USA Steel and C channel instead of Tube. It is the labor, custom fitting, axle parts and the paint. Plain black utility paint is all most pontoon trailers have and the PPG paint alone can run over $500. Then you have 15" wheels, and more to consider.
