Largemouth Lou's Motor toter passes submergent test

A gate on the damn of a local small lake broke causing the majority of the lake to drain. I went up there today. At the ramp the property owners had all kinds of junk laid out they had picked out of the mud including my Lou's. It cleaned up really well after being submerged for nearly 2 years. Painted portion looks like new and I think if I buff out the extension it will look new as well, just a little off colored now. Rubber is like new as well. I think I will paint it red from black so I don't loose it again.......

If it's the adjustable one, I would replace the 2 bolts - they are the only part that would rust!

Very sad. I feel bad for Ernest with the lost revenue from the ramp.

And like you this was the first of 2 lost. The other is at Lake Travis. Hoping the red paint will help with my aging eyes and deteriorating mind...

I bet theres a haul of tackle when you walk those banks as well. Hope they get the dam repaired and the lake returns back to normal levels in a reasonable amount of time.

Will not be anytime soon. The GBRA still does not have a plan for fixing the dam at Lake Wood that failed three years ago.

Aomeone said it will be 2years at least. Lot more pull to get Dunlap back up due to the home owners there.
