    Cane Creek State Park

    Near Star City... Anyone ever fish the lake there?

    Drove by it while working in the area a few weeks back... Thinking about trying a weekend up there; has nice camping areas and looks like it should hold some fish.

    I hope you're planning to take a kayak. I cannot accurately count the number of stumps in that lake but know that they are more than plentiful. I've fished it several times but generally avoid it because of the stumps. If you're that close I would fish Lake Monticello or the Pine Bluff Harbor.

    update on weekly fishing report also kayak tournament this coming weekend, 30 to 50 will be fishing.
