    Onieda help....

With the rivers being completed blown in central PA I am trying to plan a trip to NY to do some bass fishing. Probably a 2-3 day trip. Was thinking Onieda and Onondaga or Onida and one of finger lakes on way home. Can anyone give me a recent report on Oneida or suggestions for a 2 day trip? Thanks for any help.

Havent seen any logs just a few boards and smaller wood. As far as help...its June in New York just pick a bouy line and go fishing it's the easiest time of the year to catch a fish on the lake. You can catch both species of bass, walleye, pike, and panfish all in the same areas. Nothing fancy needed

Not to hijack but as I posted before, hope to get there in early June with my brother.....any general lure types to use? He is not a drop shot fan, but will if I tell him it's the ticket!

    Tks, BAM

Early June? Whatever your favorite way to fish is. The fish on this lake never saw a bait until the 3rd week of June for 30 years until a few years ago. Just go fish and enjoy the easy fishing

Exactly, in early June you can get bit on whatever your confidence bait is.
