    Im hearing in the next few weeks but who knows.....Garmin website said 1-2 weeks yesterday and now its back to 3-5 weeks.....

    Maybe you have an old page cached. Website still says 1 to 2 weeks for me.

    122 is 3-5 weeks. 126 is 1-2 weeks according to Garmin's web page.

    Brian at BBG recommended I take a look at the ultra as I'm considering the 8610. I did look at them and still favor the 8610svx. You guys that are pulling the trigger on the Ultra 126sv. Did you consider the 8612 before opting for the Ultra? If you did... why the Ultra instead of the 8600 series?

    I went with a 106 sv. It has everything I think I would need and comes in at a lower price than the 8××× series. I debated and debated on what unit to get. I went with the ultra bc I can eventually hook up an hd transducer if I would decide to buy one for my console. Then network both ultras and sell my 2cd gen lowarance units.

    Did i consider it, No; would i want one Yes; Why dont i get one, cause money and there are options that i'd never use. For what i need the Ultra/Plus units fit my needs and does it all that i need it to do....Yeah you dont get the HD screen resolution, full touch screen (no buttons), etc. with the Ultra BUT it still is compatible with all Panoptix, has ethernet, map sharing, etc. that the GPSmap series does.....so i'll save a few bucks.....one other thing, i just dont fish enough like others and only fish my small club tourneys.....

    Thanks for clarifying. I kept checking the 106sv but then checked the 102sv and then the126sv (which all said 1 to 2 weeks) when you posted about seeing 3 to 4 weeks. The only one I did not check was the 122sv.

    We have the very first one to leave the factory here at the shop. Very very impressive. We actually got it out on the water Wednesday with their engineers. If you have any questions on it, call the shop at: 316-313-4113 and ask for Josh. He is our Garmin Guru on it.
