When towing your boat do you normally use two or four wheel drive ? I live in an area with a lot of hills. So I usually use 4X4 But if you are on more of a level ground area what's the thought ?
Thanks

Always 2wd unless limited available traction warrants use of 4wd.
4wd doesn't help any on dry paved hills...

Same s Risco. Always 2wd. Unless you have the 4 auto option, I would advise against 4wd towing on paved roads, you aren't even supposed to use it on dry pavement unloaded, very hard on all the front end components and transfer case.

4wd is for when you don’t have traction, not when you are pulling something heavy. Use 2WD.

Thanks for the tips....
Wait... where am I? This can't be BBC... guy asked a question and got 4 good agreeing answers! Somehow no one argued that the other way was better, no name calling happened, and it didnt turn political... I just had to check the top of the page and make sure I was still in fact on BBC
