    Battery Compartment reconfigured

So the floor under my batteries caved in. So I redid it and reconfigured it so I could access all my batteries for maintainence. Here is a slew of pics I took during the process.

The foam was suppose to help hold the floor up but it didn't get back all the way. with the weight of the batteries and the bouncing caved in the floor

The foam was soaked with water and would not dry out so I removed it. Built some ledgers to hold up the floor.

My buddy gave me a piece of Coosa board to build the new floor.

So for extra piece of mind I put a fresh layer of fiberglass on the other side too.

To brighten up the inside I sprayed in with gloss white enamel.

So now the batteries, oh and I installed a Perko switch also.

I hope this helps out somebody. I'm also hoping it helps balances out the boat better from side to side, and making battery maintenance easier.

Painting the inside white really helped with being able to see thing in there. Next step will be to put some LED lights in there and other compartment.
