    150XR2 cranking battery

Hey gang, have a 1986 Merc 150 XR2 and needing new cranking battery, wanting to get high RC for all my graphs and pumps and wondering if I can go with a AGM with this motor, some have said no because of having a stator and want to make sure before I buy one, any help and info is appreciated

If you follow Mercury’s recommendation, you can’t use an AGM or a high RC battery.

NAPA, 7234 or 7235 according to which posts you want, great battery and doesn't break the bank.
