    Vexus VX20 First Tournament Win

This past Saturday marked a significant event in our company’s history: the first tournament was won out of a Vexus® fiberglass boat. Vexus® president, Keith Daffron, and our national sales manager, Ryan Patterson, took home first place and $5,000 at the Ozark Mountain Team Trail tournament on Bull Shoals while fishing out of a Vexus® VX20. This win also qualified Keith and Ryan for the OMTT Championship in October.

Keith and Ryan made a long run in the rain Saturday morning to reach their fishing spot, where they sacked up the winning limit of 20.82 lbs by 8:30. Their catch spent the rest of the day in our new livewell system.
The Vexus® Intensive Care™ livewell system is a groundbreaking innovation that greatly reduces stress on fish during long runs, such as the one Keith and Ryan had to make on Saturday, by allowing the livewell to be sealed and completely filled. This not only provides more room for the fish, but it also eliminates the air gap that causes sloshing and subsequent water loss in traditional livewells.

If you would like to experience the incredible Vexus® VX Series for yourself, check out these upcoming demonstration events. Please contact the presenting dealer for more details.

Why do we see pictures of fisherman/women holding multiple fish at end of the day daily on social media and forums. Often on dry land. Meaning those fish are out of the water for minutes. After riding in a livewell for up to hours. This has to kill fish. And then they are released sometimes many miles from where they were caught. Someone needs to tag these fish and look at kill rates. This has to be killing fish. I may very well buy a Vexus in the future. Its highly likely; however, the best livewell in the world doesn't solve this problem that has gone viral. All the hard core fisherman up here are calling it fish "porn". We hate it. Thats why we only watch fishing tournaments that are immediate weigh and release. And "us" includes a freshwater fishing hall of fame member with a 30 year running TV show. Plus a very well done study (scuba divers) on pulling fish off beds showed at least 50% loss of fry with even immediate release. Somebody needs to explain this to us. It just doesn't make sense for the future of the sport. Fish "porn" shots needs to go. Catch a fish and put it back immediately. Unless your going to eat a couple small ones.
Bass fishing has never been better in almost all the places I fish, even with all these tournies and people

i have deleted my post as obviously too inflammatory.

bass fishing up here in the North has gone down hill since all the visitors come and bed fish.

    nothing more to say.

This post is not the forum for your trolling. As already stated, these are 2 good guys doing what they love to do, like many of us in this Vexus group. I am positive if you do a search on this site you will find this debate already going. Let us know how it works out for you with your anti sight fishing campaign. From what I am seeing on both the BASS and MLF fronts, both are putting up record weight #'s "up north". A recent trip to St. Clair proved the bass fishing was off the hook great!! Tight lines ALL day long. Hands down the best fishing days I have experienced.
