    Zoom Frog

NOT the horny toad, the FROG...
anyone try this yet? I have used them for a while and still trying to find the right hook. The rubber is so rubbery its tough to get the hook to go thru sometimes on a hookset. If you tex-pose it, the hook doesnt want to stay in very good
but dang, the feet kick awesome, the frog floats and so it can be worked like a regular frog

If they are anything like these:

Then these work like a champ but only if they're similar/akin.

I’ve started throwing the Bruiser Baits plastic frogs and had some issues finding the right hook. Started with a 3/0 Gamakatsu Superline EWG But it kept ripping at the front where you insert the hook. Ended up with the 4/0 Gamakatsu Superline un weighted swimbait hook and it works pretty darned well! It won’t stop you from getting a lot more blow ups than hook ups but it’s a great hook, and the screw in keeper holds the front very well!

Strader was catching them on this bait with a single wide gap hook. Looked pretty big, at least 5/0. I believe it was a cup event in MI on a largemouth lake that was full of veg.

Always used a stanley ribbit for that style, didn't even know zoom made one. So the plastic is not like a horny toad but more like rubber?

yes the rubber is dense/solid... it floats. its similar to the old Terminator(?) plastic worms that you can stretch and it wont rip
