David Blanton/ Warriors on the Water

I would like to just take a moment and say thank you to David and all the staff and volunteers with Warriors on the Water. I can only imagine all the work and planning that goes into making this event the success that it is every year. Get some rest David. I know next years will be off the charts.

I haven't fished one in a while but I know David has been there working hard from the 1st one until now. Always a great event. I'm knocking around the idea of fishing the last one.

Definitely one of my favorites every year. I also second that opinion that the WoW Committee, with the work and effort that they all put in to make this event a huge success is just phenomenal. I have fished it on sides of the boat, as a service member before I retired and as a boater now a few years. They work hard each and every year for both the service members and for the boaters, to ensure that everything runs smoothly, safely and that everyone has a great time. You can definitely count me in for next year, the final year.

Next year will be the last year for the event. The Committee has been doing the event for years and unless others are willing to take over, the 2020 event will be the final year.

I was a "last minute," drop this year again as work schedule interfered after I had signed up. I've been a supporting boater 5 or 6 times over the years. I'll definitely sign up for next year's.
