If you can keep an open mind and are willing to make drastic changes in your angling tactics, this book will make you a much better fisherman along with reducing your tackle selection.
Dr. Jones was a scientist at Berkeley labs for years and his detailed lab tests dispell allot of myths about color, sound, and scent/attractants. I read thru mine every couple years and learn something each time. If your looking for lots of pictures and truley believe that realistic colors on a frog are necessary, this book is not for you.
Once you read it, you'll understand why publication was shut down as it's content is devastating to the tackle industry.
*If you can't afford the current pricing see if your local library has it.
Thanks for the info! I'm going to look for a copy of the book.

So very true. SO MANY baits and technics catch more fisherman than fish but some refuse to accept it... kinda like (fill in your choice of "must haves" here) No long ago the umbrella rig was going to ruin fishing...lol

It is also a little ironic that these same folks (Big Indiana Bass) are the same folks that say Flourocarbon advantages are way overblown but some here will fight you tooth and nail if you say that...
