    Ranger prop help

Just beginning my set up on the R81vs, new motor is a etec G1 200 ho, 6 inch manual plate prop to pad starting point 3.25, rpms 5750 at 68.2 with 25 fury 4. Water pressure 15 psi at 5750. Trim 75 percent on calibrated by tech nema network, rpm from nema, water pressure digital from nema. I know the fury 4 has alot of stern lift. Would I see less chine more speed from a 26 tempest or 26 Raker II. Like to play a little more with the fury 4 however, think going up to 2.75 may help?. Boat running 3/4 tank if fuel, just me 190 lbs and gear. I'm thinking 70 plus is possible with right 3 blade setup and eliminating chine to minimum. Looking for little positive help in right direction, I know people have seen 70 from these with a 175 merc so, I dont think I'm asking for alot with 218 to 220 hp. Motor is bout 100lbs heavier then carbed 175. I do have access to a 28 Raker II that I can try.

I'd try a 26 Tempest on it for more speed may have to have Mark work it to get all it's got.

Just picked up a A45 Tempest 25 p just balanced and blueprinted by Mark anxious see what it does.. Ran a 25p fury 3 was turning 70.1 full tournament load with just me and full tank of gas however boat felt real flat no bow lift and was only turning 5600. Hoping to see a noticeable difference in bow lift w the tempest and some more RPM. the Fury 4 had tons of bow and seemed like stern lift as when she was lightly loaded she was chine walking took care of that once tournament load was in her .

If it won't turn the 25 fury it may not turn a 26 tempest either. Might have to try a 25 tempest.
