    Prop setup help

    Wondering if anyone could recommend a prob put a new motor on my boat 225 EFI tried several different props a 25 Tempest does the best on the top end but sluggish out of the hole I've also tried 25 trophy same won't hardly come out of the hole with livewells filled either a24 trophy jumps out of the hole but I can only run 60 mph and turn to many rpms I have a hydraulic jack plate so I've tried the motor in several different places thanks

    What boat, Jack Plate,ptp...etc etc
    EFI is not known for good holeshot

    2.5L EFI's were not known for great holeshot.. However the 3L EFI's have a load of low end torque and have as good of a holeshot as any of the current motors when propped correctly..

    Did you already play with the venting on the tempest? I have one large hole plug in and 2 holes completely open.

    It's an older Tempest with the square holes they're all open I thought about sending it off they get the PVS holes put in it so I could play around with the plugs but I didn't know if that was my best option

    Yes, I was told the fury was 300 rpm different than most props, so drop a pitch to achieve the same rpm
