I had a 1990 Ranger 361V with a 90 Yamaha ProV 150, great boat but you could get very wet in a hurry. The layout was pretty sweet for the time.

I had a new 93 201, 95 201 and 96 Bass Cat Eyra. Loved the raw speed of the first 201 but loved fishing out of the little first Gen. Eyra. It was perfect size until they stopped making collapsable flipping sticks. 8’ open rod lockers are a must have today.

184 Champion hard to beat. I have had a few 20ft bass boats but that 184 had a awesome ride and handling was second to none.

1997 Viper Cobra 188D with a 200 HP Johnson Limited Edition with a 24 Raker worked over by Boger Props. It was a fun first real bass rig.

I love my Champion 187 Elite. Merc 175efi. Its a pretty smooth ride and pretty roomy for an 18ft boat.

During its time the Venture 18V was one nice boat. I currently have a 98 bass cat pantera 'll and love it.

Astro F-18 .. hard to beat the overall ride ,performance and layout. And they flat haul the mail

    Champion would be runner up.

I've only had experience with two 90's hulls. My 96 Hydra-sports LS175 with a 175 evinrude intruder that I used for 13 years and my current boat a 1995 Allison xb2003. I do love my Allison but I sure do miss my Hydrasport. And both of these boats, aside from normal wear and tear, are still in almost new condition.

I'm not finding many that are 18 foot with a 150 or 175 horse rating that I would consider.

The only one that jumps out at me is the Bass Cat Margay.
Bass Cat Sabre FTD with a 175 is a rocket.

    Had a 1999 Renegade with 150 Johnson
Rode in a lot of 379 Javelins and always liked that boat.
Sprint was a great boat also.

1997 186 Champion SC, 150 FastStrike, worked 25 Renegade by DAH->. Boat would flat out run mid to upper 60s all day, everyday.
