Since I had a great season and a limit of spring gobblers this season, I had a lot of people ask how I dress out a wild turkey. Honestly I normally keep the breast, wings, and legs. I decided to make a short video on how I pull the breast without much trouble, quick and easy (just gotta do a bit more work with feathers). The legs and wings are also super easy and are great on the smoker. I know some people go through the trouble of plucking the whole bird, but I find it much easier and quicker to deconstruct the turkey. Opinions? or if you have a great turkey recipe you would like to share. I normally smoke the breast to 160 IT with hickory and a dusting of the same rub I use on chicken.
