    Kentucky lake suggestions

I fish it one or two times a year , I guess there is some bass still in the bushes and some moving to ledges this time of may . I was planning on going end of this week fishing within 20 miles of dam , is topwater bite on yet ? And help would be awesome to make the most of a few days of fishing

They are moving out but I caught a 5 pounder on the brush last Thursday on Barkley. My friends also got two in the brush and 6 out a little farther.

Was out late yesterday afternoon and had a good bite in the canal on the north side . Current very strong toward Barkley dam so just drifted bouncing jig and tube vertical off bottom. Smallmouth were feeding and we boated a couple over 3 lb and some smaller fish. Had some better fish on but they came loose. Lost a couple jigs and had some missed hits. Fished from 6pm until 8pm drifting about 6 ft from rock and stayed in 10 to 15 ft of water. Bite was better below bridge.

Thanks for info could make time on water better spent than just spending hours trying to figure out how to get some bites
