    Pumpkinseed Painted!!

    I haven't painted a pumpkinseed in a very long time, decided to try one. They sure are one beautiful fish.

    That is an awesome paint scheme!!! I like real eyes myself but I don't think those red eyes look bad. I also fish with a few guys that get custom painted cranks with either the same red eyes or chrome eyes and they do well with them.

    Thanks man!!

    I just play around with different colors on the eyes. It sort of makes them pop out a little. Never thought of going natural on this one. My mind was set on red or blue.

    The fish wont care either way... When making natural looking baits, I like to see them go all the way is all...

    Red is the first color to disappear in the water.. Bass love eating blind food. Especially since bass don't have rods and cones in their eyes and can't see colors. Like dogs and deer.

    Thanks!! It's the same bait with a different angle from the camera. The belly looks a little orange in the 1st pic, but is actually yellow and shows better in the 2nd pic.
