    SHO full throttle adjustment

    SHO full throttle adjustment

2018 VF200LA......Looking at the attached pic, ...at FULL Throttle should it be adjusted so the bent tab hits the stop? Or should I line up the mark on throttle cam with the arrow on the stop? I can't find this in the service manual. Thanks in advance

There has to be more than just throttle opening different in the 200, 225 and 250. The 200 does not require 92 octane, the 250 does, that's at least a timing change (from the referenced link). I am interested in the answer to this one as well.

Thankyou, I'd really appreciate someone with a 200SHO looking at their throttle cam (with pedal to the floor) when it's at full throttle and let me know if it's all the way to the stop like the attached pic at left or if it's aligned with the mark and arrow like pic at right. Sorry, but my service manual doesn't show the setup, I emailed Yamaha and no one replied, and my local marina is having high water, flooding problems so I don't want to bother them with this.

Mine was very slightly past the mark when at WOT. Always ran very strong.

Thanx JRisco...I'm just guessing/hoping that the mark aligned with the arrow is the right way to set it up.
