    2012 verado 150 won't run

Helping a friend with his 2012 verado 150 (serial # 1B939796). The boat has been sitting for about 3 years but has less than 50 hours on it. It will start and run for about 2 seconds but dies out. It has good spark and new fuel. We checked fuel pressure at the rail and it shows around 50 psi. We are thinking possible the fuel lift pump is bad but not for sure. Is there anyway to check this other than replacing it? Any other ideas of what it could be?

If it has 50 psi at the rail, it should certainly run at idle. More than likely the fuel injectors and perhaps other fuel system components are restricted or gelled up. Injectors are a good starting point.

Make sure all of the maintenance is up to date, also (and don't overlook the spark plugs, despite the low hours).
