    Hi Guys..
New to "Ionic" lithium and loving them!

Question..a couple outings, 1 pre tournament practice and then tournament without charging..125ah starting battery at 80%,this is after running pumps for 8 hrs , 2 12" hds lives and ghost spot locked for most the day 2 trolling motor 50ah batteries at 48%, wondering if I should charge or do a 3rd fishing trip first? Any advice is appreciated

Better to find out in Pre. You seemingly are only using 26% a day

Thanks for the correction. I was somehow under the impression that a smaller battery (than the 100ah) was available with a rope handle.

Thanks for the info..so I take it we can run them pretty low without doing any damage, is that correct? Any memory in them if I was to recharge each time after going out, thought i read not to do so?

IONIC's have a low voltage cut off point. That protects the battery from damage if run low. I would recommend that batteries be 99-100% facing a tournament or a hateful windy day!!

So I’ve now fished 3 tournaments and same # of turkey shoots during the Covid. I’m not a power hog as I only run 2 x HDS with SS . But last 2 events only 6 hrs due to summertime CA rules. But running livewells frequently and have not seen my Ionic 100ah below 97% to finish the day. Lots of running in the CA Delta so charging on the run. But so happy I made the swap. Having no worries on T day is awesome. Fish have been healthy as heck too, as I had a hell a time getting them out Sunday!

I started using my 125ah for a shop Radio, just turn on the sonic hub in the boat and play the radio all weekend just to pull some juice out of it sense we have been on lockdown haven't got in much fishing time

I have been thinking about making the switch to lithium batteries for a while now, just have not pulled the trigger. This thread was very helpful (after reading through all 77 pages) and shed some light on the lithium switch questions I have been looking for. Going to give it a shot and purchase some Ionic batteries!

There is an IONIC battery to replace any lead acid or AGM battery that is onboard. 50 AMP does great for most everyday fishermen for TM applications. Hope this sheds a little light for questions.

So, in a 24 volt TM system, what makes one by a single 24 volt vs. two 12s?

The only thing I could think of would be space limitations. I know a guy that put a 36v trolling motor on an older boat that have very limited space in the bilge. He went with a singe 36v for that reason.
