The other downside in addition to having to buy a new charger is this: What if that 36v goes bad? Now you get to buy one 36v replacement instead of having to buy one 12v replacement. I would never buy one 36v lithium instead of three 12v lithiums.

Recently upgraded to a Lowrance Ghost TM. 3, 8 hour days and running mostly on setting 3. Used around 12% of Ionics 50 AMP per day average. Wind was low so no spot lock testing. Very well satisfied for sure.

Lowrance Ghost Trolling Motor and Ionic 50 Amp batteries are turning out to be a great combination. Not been below 12% on any day. But still have not gotten in a real windy day for spot locking.

I'm using the 36 Volt set up. Ghost is very powerful vs. my Fortrex 112 thrust. Seems setting 3 works very well for my style of fishing.

I just read through all 101 pages and really like all of the answered questions and testimonials. I am currently running 3 x Group 27 SLA Interstates but am ready to make the transition to lithium for my 2 x trolling motor batteries. I don't think I want to move my 4 stroke Mercury cranking battery just yet. I have a battery compartment on my 2011 Tracker PT 175 TXW (60hp) that only allows for 15.5" x 21" space for 3 batteries. I currently have a 12v TM, and will be likely upgrading to a 24v 80# MK Ultrex within 30-60 days.

Iowa, I read through the whole thread when it was about 88 pages and agree, it answered all of my questions. I ended up ordering 4 Ionics from Drew and I could not be happier with the price, service, and his knowledge. I did go with a 125AH for my cranking battery which also powers all of my electronics and it has been amazing.

I have the Ghost too but I’m running it on 24 volt but still impressed with the power. I just recently received 125AH and 2 50AH batteries and NOCO charger from Drewcraft. I’m going to see how this works and if needed add another 50AH and convert to 36volt. I also typically run on the 3 setting.

I would think that Ghost on 24V would be fine with most recreational fishermen. Tournament fishermen will definitely want the 36V setup. I've found the Ghost TM to exceed my power and energy expectation's. I also use the IONIC 125A for cranking my Yamaha 250 SHO and running my electronics.

Id take a hard look at our Impulse 60 ah bridges that gap especially on 24 volt the 50 ah just not enough battery for most. let me know if you would like pricing

watched the video of jerry, pretty impressive to run all of that, and bluetooth lets him know his status.
When he gets back to shore power,do you know what style/type a/c charger he is using to top off everything?
lots of different views on what is best shore power charger to use.
    thanks

I've added New Lowrance 360 on my Ghost setup. I've ran it quite a bit and it looks like it may be taking about 2 AMPs of my IONIC 125AMP battery a 8 hour day, run at intermittent times. Really cool setup.

Zero dissapointments with Impulse, bluetooth if you want on our Platinum lineup, Grade A cylindrical cells .. Choose the brand more pro's rely on... Fishing is there job no matter sponsored or not they wont use a battery that doesnt flat our perform day in and day out. Full 10 year repair or replace warranty, NO PRORATION like others.
