Ideas for 22SF

Just wanted to get some ideas, I may not do anything. Right now i have about 3k saved up that i had planned to use for a SeaDek install on my 22SF non skid deck. Seems the SeaDek installers have sold all the seadek they want to sell in my area. Got the guy to come scan my deck over 3 weeks ago, and have not heard one peep from him since. No reply to text or phone call since. I dont get it. Anyways, I do not have power poles on my boat since i mostly fish deep water lakes the majority of the year. I go to the coast about 3 times a year, so i could use them then. I also have new HDS units as my boat is a 2018. TM is MK Terrova riptide. Anyone have any suggestions on what should or could spend this money on for a LEGIT upgrade? The way it stands now, i may just save the money and not do anything with it.

Poles would be very useful for when you come down here but having owned an sf I’d say some type of flooring is a must!!

You can always call seadek direct. If theyve ever cut one theres no need to scan yours just order from them. I did this on my flats boat last year

I didnt know that was an option. I know of 4 that have been cut before. Maybe i will give that a shot, since that was my original plan to begin with. Thx

Just gave seadek a call. They dont have my boat on file. None of the dealers released the scan i guess. may go with the mylar tracing option. Gonna be a ton of work that way ,but i will save some cash and not have to deal with the guy not calling me back.

He did, i think that one was a 2013, but i believe the top cap has remained the same.

Looking at doing a bluewater marine blacklight kit for rub rails. Pretty inexpensive it appears. Checking on the install costs.

Rich’s top cap layout is custom. It’s not the same as a stock sf. I do believe some of the panels are the same but not all of them.

Gotcha, ordered the template kit from SeaDek. Plan now is to work on doing it myself, with seadek sending me the custom cuts.

Pretty typical of SeaDek dealers and installers. I stopped selling it because of the same issues. The BIG GUY is correct. What I did on my boat would not help you. I made too many changes.

I have found Aquatraction in the last few days. Looks like a good product. Dealer is willing to use my tracing from Seadek kit to cut materials. He also seems to want my business. Nice guy, Lee Buck , from wilmington NC. I think thats the route im going. Also about 1000 bucks cheaper.
