    2010 Marine Master Trailer issue/question

My tandem axle trailer has trailer brakes. One of the calipers broke off the hub and rotor and sheared the bolt off and destroyed the side of the flange. It was mounted on the rear side of the hub. My question is do I have to replace the flange or can I simply install the caliper on the rotor on the forward side of the hub? Will this fix work or is the caliper designed to be on the rear side of the rotor only? Are there any faults to having it opposite the way it came?

You can put on the front but the bleeder will be on the bottom. To bleed you will have to put a spacer in the caliper ,same thickness as rotor. Bleed with bleeder up than mount the caliper. No big deal.

You can swap the bleeder port and pressure port so it will bleed normally. If you have a straight axle, you can probable flip the axle and have good mounting holes where you need them.
If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity,
    nothing else matters.
