Went out for some gills Friday evening and did good. But when did the yellow bass take over Hardy. I caught 50 of them suckers in no time. Poked my hands 50 times too.

Hardy was a good lake until they killed the weeds and Lilly pads. I know they added stripers, walleye and yellow bass. I fish for redear on the bottom and catch more 8 to 10 inch bass. They seem to be starving. Let me rephrase that. When I am not catching the yellow bass I catch the occasional largemouth that appears to be starving. Not sure what it will take to get that lake back.

Heather and I fished the USA Bassin there on Saturday, still sucks lol. We had 2 keepers, just weighed 1 to get the points, tossed the other.

Paid 4 places, top 4 teams all had a 5 fish limit.
    1st 10 lbs
    2nd 8 lbs
    3rd 7 lbs
    4th 7 lbs

Smallest, skinniest 14 inch bass in the state live in that lake. I think Big Bass was 2.4 lbs. We caught quite a few, just no size and yes, they look like they're starving in there.
