    How wide is your truck? I pull a TR186 behind a Sierra and the trailer wheels are wider than my truck so I always see them in my mirrors even when dead straight. I might have an issues if the angle between the lot and the ramp is severe but so far that has never happened. And I don’t have tow mirrors either. I just cant imagine a bassboat trailer not being visible in my mirrors.

    A set of light sticks mounted behind the trailer fenders would provide visibility in the mirrors day or night, with or without the boat on the trailer.

    I first thought it was a stupid option but the Ford Trailer Backup system works really great when backing the empty trailer back in the ramp. You watch the backup camera monitor while you just turn a knob in the direction you want the trailer to go. Easy Peasy.

    I have seen guys use those cheap flags they put on bikes at the 2 back corners.

    mounted a snowplow guidepost on winchplate to help center trailer to truck and backing to ramp

    I've done this (easily removable flags) successfully for years.

    This is basically what I do. You need to be aware of your surroundings but once you have your bearings, seein one tire in your driver side mirror is all you need in order to know what is going on.
