    Motor Oil Drain Assembly Leak

I have a slight leak coming out of the motor oil drain on my 2018 115 Pro XS 4 stroke. I re-torqued it to spec and it still leaks out of the hole in the hose fitting. Is there anything I should know before removing the drain assembly to replace the o-rings? Is the smallest o-ring seated into the reservoir or does it stay on the fitting? It looks like it should be pretty straight forward but I just want to make sure.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info when posting. Thanks!

Normally quite straightforward- replace o-rings and lubricate with engine oil before installing. Pretty rare to see this but it does happen.

I replaced the small o-ring on the end of the assembly and the leak has stopped. The old o-ring had a small piece of aluminum embedded into it causing the slow leak. All 3 o-rings are retained on the drain assembly so it is very straight forward to replace. Thanks EuropeanAM
