    Fast water

Thinking of adding two talons to my jet boat. How well will they hold in STRONG current. Say 12 ft talon in 10 ft deep. Is the flex too much to hold. If the boat catches on a side flex will it likely spin dangerously?

Shad fishing on the Delaware river. Fast heavy current on a rocky river.

It should hold but don’t expect to position boat perpendicular or bow into the current

should hold but it will always be downstream, also try to get boat speed to zero as the anchors hit bottom so it doesn't sound so bad in the rocks

Not sure how that would work keeping the tail to the current. Pushing force on the boat would be extreme. Might even have water splashing over the top. Don’t think I’d try that in the fast water.

Thank you for the good advice, good idea to deploy in reverse when in moderate or slow current.

    Stay safe
