I just last year got into throwing the S-Waiver and loved it. I would typically not get a ton of hits but when I did they were larger fish. I did best with it post spawn out in 10-18 FOW just barely moving it as well as catching fish al the way into November but it was a learning curve as far as the technique goes. I've fished stuff slow but this was like deathly slow and even had fish grab it after it had been sitting for 10-15 seconds. I'm interested to hear others point of view and how they fish it. I watched the Tactical Bassin guys videos and it helped starting off for sure.

I threw it this past weekend, never hooked anything but we are in post spawn funk. It did however had a draw factor , I was able to get some followers which told me what size fish were in that area. I was using a slow reel and twitch pattern retrieve, now I need to find a larger capacity reel .

I use a Lews super duty wide spool for my swimbaits.

Same here. Great reel. I bought one of these baits last year in their Bone color because I read where John Murray the BASS pro said that was the 'all around' color. Well, it's about the ugliest puke yellow color I've ever seen. Have never had a fish touch it. Looks great swimming. Wish I would have bought smaller size in different color.

BoatBuggy, How tall are the S-Waver 168? Looking for a plastic container to keep them in. I have 1 container that's 2.75" X 8" L.

They are buried in the boat and I can't get one right now but the package it comes in is 2" wide. I store mine in a deep 3600 box alongside some 120's, Bull Shads and Whopper Ploppers.

Mine has very little side to side movement on just a straight retrieve, I have to half reel turns to get mine to glide side to side, but all the videos I watch most guys are just reeling them slowly and they glide very well...not sure what my problem is?? Throwing the 168 on a 7'3" heavy rod with 20lb fluoro

sometimes the hinge is a little bit tight and you have to loosen the bait up a little

I have a few but I lack the confidence to stay with it when I have other techniques that I can catch fish with. I know I am going to have to stick with it more seen to many videos of guys catching big ones on it.
