    First trip out this year.

I have posted on here before about my boat (xb2003), and learning to drive it. I traded a worked 27 trophy for a 28 chopper last October. I got to try it out in early November. Planed off good, got up to 60 and slung a blade. Haven't been out since.
Late winter/early spring I started working on it, changedthe hydraulic hoses around, moved the two trolling batteries to the left rear compartment and pulled out all of the wiring.
I'm still working on the wiring but I got to take it out Monday for a spin. Put my 25 trophy on and hit the water. 225 promax fired right up and I ran in the 60's for a bit to warm myself up and the boat.
I started making some high speed runs and ended up doing 83. My best ever was 85 for a split second. I think it was a good move to relocate the batteries. Looking forward to more seat time this summer.!!!

Don’t underestimate the importance of a well balanced boat.
