St. Claire Public boat ramps and flooding??

Anyone local to St. Claire have info about open public ramps? My son and I are heading up in the morning and could use some info.
We used the Harley ramp last year. It would better for us to use one of the more mid lake ramps if possible.

Are there road closings in the Roseville area?
Any help appreciated.

Use the Harley Ensign ramp, no roads closed that I know of. You should be fine.

Just a heads up I was out there today and the mile roads are littered with debris I mean tons of stuff from 30 foot logs to hundreds of 2 foot chunks ready to punch a hole in your hull

12 mile and Jefferson is flooded but passible at real slow speeds, Harsens Island has a main road flooded

10 Mile lunch and Harsens Island launch are closed due to flooding

The road to Harley Ensign has water over it in several spots but it is passible

most of the debris has moved on but there is always that one rouge log you need to look out for this time of year

Water is trying to clear up but is still stained

Was a Zoo out there the past two days with loads of Googans

I wasted my time and gas on StClair today.... I caught 10X more yesterday on an inland lake....

I launched at Harley and all was good.... I ran about 60+ miles and never saw any floating debris.... I did see dirty water everywhere south of Metro.

Winds have shifted and water levels have dropped about 8 to 10 inches

army corps of engineers say that the lake levels will continue to rise and we haven't seen projected levels like this since the 50's

mud has moved out but still very stained

This would be happening since I'm making my first trip up there next week. I'm starting to think this is not going to be a good trip. I think it would be difficult for a first timer to find fish with perfect conditions let alone what you guys are describing.

We are moving our trip that was supposed to start tomorrow. Precicted East Winds and lake shore flodding predicted. Going to shoot of next week if weather improved.

I was out Saturday and Sunday and did well. The fishing should only get better and the weather looks good after Friday.

We just got home. We had a great trip! We used the Clinton River DNR ramp when the wind permitted. We drove up to Clay township DNR ramp to get to Little Muskamoot Bay when the wind was bad on the Mile Roads. You local guys have such an awesome fishery! Thank you Michigan for another awesome trip. My son and I caught a few hundred smallies between a pound and over 5 pounds. Our largest was just shy of six pounds. Can't wait until next year already.

What's the Clay township DNR ramp like? It looks a little primitive on Google Earth.

Edit to add: I presume you are referring to the Snooks Highway ramp.

The Clay township DNR ramp is better known as the North Channel Launch
This is a large launch with plenty of parking

The Snook Launch is small and under water at this time

They do have stakes marking the ramp but you have to park on the main road
