How to fix carpet tear

I noticed a hole developing in the carpet on the front deck.
It is not very bad yet , but I would like to prevent it from getting any worse.
Whats the best product to use to glue the hole down and keep it from unraveling?
Carpet is grey and deck is aluminum .

Done similar several time. Get some good contact cement and a syringe w/ a large gauge needle. Asked dr for it and told use. get glue under carpet w/ needle. Careful w/ excess gue seeping around tear. Light weight on area while drying.
