I had planned on using the scotch lock IDC’s.
However when I got to reading they are rated for 22/16 awg
wire. The 6mm bolts have 26 awg.
The smaller connectors I see are for solid wire.

yes I have a low voltage wiring business and buy these things in the 1000 packs, we use them for lots of stuff, on marine stuff YES I still strip the wires about a 1/4", you dont have to but many times im putting 3 wires in and its likely that with 3 one would overlap and not get pins in it,
no special crimper needed but a big pair if Klins or channel locks do a better job than my $60 crimpers
