    Cooperman Update

Cooper left Louisiana to do a little Texas fishin for a day.

I was able to get out with Cooperman early this year. He had a cousin getting married so his mother brought him along. My granddaughter had a perfect wedding, and I got to fish with Cooper after the fact. His mom held up at the house through Monday. Not a more perfect reason to have a day out of school. His mom did not think so. But we loaded up and went anyway.

Winds were kickin about 15 to 20 mph when we arrived at the ramp. We fished about 30 minutes in the dark. Cooper got one 2 lb'er on a spinner bait. From there we found plenty. some wanted a ribbit frog, others wanted flukes with no weight. Caught one on a chugger style bait.

The water was very clear, and about 75 degrees.
