    Repower cost

    What's an average cost including controls and rigging to repower a bass boat with a 225 HP motor???

    $100 per HP... Anything else is about the value of what is coming off or if they are hungry for a sale... (note: Some add on featurs can move this around a little)

    I repowered my 08 Basscat with the new v8 merc 250 pro xs. A little over 21k after installation

    I repowered a 2004 Stratos that had a 200 HO Evinrude with a 200 Opti ProXS. Installation included a new 8 inch Slidemaster jackplate, Mercury controls, Smartcraft tach and speedo. Total costs $15.5K.
