I was in the lake for a little while Saturday, never took a rod out of the locker. Did put the TM in the water and had to continuously pick that slime shit off. Lake is very off color since it picked up the runoff. I have no plan or desire to get back on this lake anytime soon, good luck is all I can say. Lake has picked up 15k acre ft of water since last week.

Thanks I have been trying to convince Scott we should go somewhere else
I just don’t know that I want to waste four days off
. Farmerman was down here with some other buddies of mine this weekend, maybe he will chime in. I did see one of them headed to another lake Saturday afternoon so I’m sure the fishing was tough or they wouldn’t have loaded up and left. If I were y’all I wouldn’t come down here without several coolers full of beer, you will be drinking a lot.
It was terrible, Chase had that one little small mouth, other than that all we caught was slime. We left there and went to Hords creek and had a blast, caught a lot of fish. Went to Oak Creek yesterday and it was fun, fished until 2 and caught 10-12 fish, they are healthy chunks!
Thanks for the info!
I am thinking real hard about going to another lake .
Lot of time and money to waste.
Every lake I've been on out this way has that green slimy shit Chance mentioned. Continuously picking it off my baits.
We had a big group here from Waco this weekend, they had a 2 day big bass tourney. Friday big fish was 3+, Saturday was 7+. Most guys said they caught small fish but they all said the slime was terrible.
Slimy water is better than no water.
You are right about that WB
Crap wrong finger Chance.
Tournament last weekend had 3 fish weighed out of 40 boats
All these lakes out here with salt cedars have this slime moss right now should go away in a month or so, Spence had it last year it went away in may or june.
I can't wait for Ivie to cycle through these next few spawns with this new water. I feel like in 5yrs (if the lake can stay full) that lake is going to be down right fun! Someone go dig up some hydrilla sprigs and transplant it in various areas around the lake. :)
I remember when there was so much grass you learned certain areas you needed to avoid. Choked up the prop more than once. Had a 2 pounder come up on a top water in the Concho once. Missed the fish and he couldn't get back thru the grass. Flopped around for 30 seconds before he found an opening. Funny as chit.
