Yes on my trailer for my 285. Did it 10 years ago. No issues. Local weld shop handled it

It's not a problem. I installed one on a 03 201 pro trailer. Cut and bolt on.

Easy to do, cut tongue , weld on unit and extend break line with flex rubber hose.
