Graph glass vs RMP screen saver

What do people like better? Graph glass or Russel marine screen savers? Graph glass is twice as expensive

You get what you pay for. Very happy with my graph glass on my solix 12’s.

If ur talking about graph glass for a solix 10...I’m assuming it’s an error not listed as the 12 fits the helix and solix so I’m sure the 10 does both...e-mail and ask. I just ordered the 10” graph glass....will see how it looks

I haven't seen the RMP but the graph glass is very high quality. I hardly have to clean my units anymore and when I do its a breeze. Water runs right off which is nice. Also faster sliding your fingers for touch features.

The material is more reflective but glare hasn’t been a problem. I tilted my screen down one click after install and it’s fine. The graph glass is basically identical to high end cellphone screen glass. I also do not have the anti reflective glass because they don’t make it for my 15” unit but that is an option.

Nothing is better than the bare screen. You may be adding a slight amount of impact protection, but you're also adding glare. The touchscreen units have too much glare already.

I have a Helix 8 and 9 and debating on whether or not to get the anti-glare graph glass. I like the added protection offered, to me it seems like a cheapish insurance policy. They are on back-order now, so someone must have some information on them...

I’d like something too. I still have the original protective cover on it, I’m not worried about the impact resistance, I’m more worried about not scratching the screen.

I used to think this too but I am sold on the graph glass. The glass sheds water and debris so easily it never gets dirty, and that was always a pain with the stock screens. From what I have seen the water and debris actually impacted visibility more than glare from the glass.

That was my experience as well with the bare screen. Water spotting was so bad I couldn’t use my Helix effectively. I installed the RMP glass screen and the water spotting is not nearly as bad. I do have to change viewing angles mid day due to the glare. The non glare glass graph screen sounds interesting for my next Bird.

DO you keep the units out of the sun and heat with the graph glass.. Reading there info it states you are not suppose to expose it to sunlight for more than 1 hour or temps above 80 degrees F? They also stated they are not responsible for any damage occuring in transport.

I can testify my Graph Glass with anti glare has been out in the sun for many hours with way hotter than 80 degrees. My Solix is hotter than that in the winter time, sun or no sun. Bob

Glare isn't a problem when night fishing.
