Be leery of the ‘11 SHO. The earlier ones seemed to have more issues with piston and major failures.
I used to have a 2012 FX21 with 250SHO. Nothing inherently wrong with the boat model. It does use the "Brain Box" which is subject to going bad. The 2011 year model 250SHO had some recalls for powerhead replacement. I don't believe all were recalled. You might check and see if the one you are interested in was recalled and had the powerhead replaced.Originally Posted by Z21 Tom
Thanks guys! Yeah I'm going to check on the SHO and see if anything was done to it.
I noticed the boat has a few gel coat cracks. Wasn't sure if this was typical or the boat was run hard.

Mine is a 2010 not a gel crack anywhere. Awesome boat just check on the motor
