    You will find the best minds on Champs on this forum for sure! I just finished my 86 Mean 15 rebuild & if it wasn't for the the people here I would still be pickn the back side of my pant's & scratch'n my head, lol
    They made my past year go by smooth during the rebuild. If I can help you out in any way with local places to go for repairs, or just want to meet at lake Castaic, feel free to hit me up!

    Yes, I Love Apollonia (My Champion). Dropped here off at the Mechanic finally today. Had a long talk with him about props, thejackplate, and a bunch of other stuff. Confident he will help get me dialed in. Looking forward to hitting Don Pedro and the DELTA Labor Day weekend/week. If you see me on the water holler guys. Can't miss me.     Piru is on the no no list for the mussel infestation. Not a good thing to have growing inside your motor.

    Not in California, but I love my GMC Yukon Hybrid for towing my Champ. 16-18 mpg towing a 203, 20-22 mpg with nothing strapped on the back.

    I don't fish Socal lakes. Not Because of fearing Quagga. But because of Inspections and Restrictions. I choose to go NorCal, Arizona and everywhere else. Lake Michigan, Havasu, plenty of Lakes have Mussles. It doesn't affect fishing. Nor will you ruin your equipment unless you are moored indefinitely at a marina. Don't be fooled by the "Water for sale" Game in Southern California. But thats a discussion about politics... Haha

    I can’t say I blame you for fishing away from all the restrictions. Again anytime you your heading out to Northern Cal, the Delta & or Arizona give me a ring, can only say I can’t this time. Would love to fish new lakes. Also your boat is a really pretty machine that will keep you happy for a long long time!
