Slept in Monday morning. Ran by the storage lot and picked up Gary's Charger and picked him up at his house at 8:30am. Grabbed a quick breakfast sandwich at the McDonalds in Republic and headed toward Shell Knob. When we put in at Campbell Point at 10:15 it was already 70*, bright sun, and a steady breeze coming from the south. Water temperature at the ramp was 60.2 and it was clear as bath water. We already had a game plan before we hit the water so we headed to our first spot and immediately started catching fish. We saw lots of beds but there were only a few fish on them and they were all little bucks. It was a dinker fest all day with a few nice fish mixed in. We had a ball and this time Gary was catching them too. We may have had 5 or 6 keepers all day but the dinks kept us entertained for sure. Every bite we got was on a Ned Rig except for one little dink I caught on a grub. All fish came in 15 feet or less. Can't wait to get back out there.....
