Im getting my dads 2004 with a 150 Xr6 on it. I know it will run around 55 with a 23p Tempest. what does everyone recoment as far as jack plate set back and what not?
Im getting my dads 2004 with a 150 Xr6 on it. I know it will run around 55 with a 23p Tempest. what does everyone recoment as far as jack plate set back and what not?

I had the 6" removed and added a Detwiler Hydraulic 8" Jackplate Running a 25" Tempest plus 3.25" blow pad. Best speed I have gotten is 72mph With two people and all the tackle we generally carry and half a tank of gas , but I am running 200 Pro XS Mine is also a 2004. I also had hydraulic steering put on.
