    I don’t feel the need anymore 😢

95 202. Hung a new 250 on a while back at that time it was idling or darn near WOT. Just turned 60 and have a 2 year old lab as my partner. For about a year now I average about 38 mph all day long.
My question is should I see a dr? LOL. It really doesn’t bother me at all.

Nope, No need to go faster than that. Your not in a hurry anyway. Just retired and drive the speed limit everywhere. Probably makes the people behind me angry, but what the H. My life, my time, my pace now. Got off the rat wheel.

Haha. Thanks. With all my money Pat has spent getting me set up correctly with info and all, I almost feel like I’m letting him down.

I know the feeling ... 07 210 with Yammie 250 HPDI and I cruise at 45-50. But I'll still air it out once in a while to keep the cob webs from getting too thick, especially if I have a long run to make ...

It's a beautiful country we live in, and fishing is the greatest activity in the greatest country, there's a level for everyone. Fresh, salt, cane pole, fast, slow whatever you like it's all available. Bully for you.

I never drive my boat too fast when fun fishing. But come tournament day and I'm rarely under 80 mph. However, if gas prices continue to rise I may be in the 50 mph cruising crowd.

After all the time spent trying to be the meanest dog on the porch, I'm with you, don't care how fast, don't care how pretty. My scooter rips along at 30 mph, and we go catch fish. I like to eat fish, so we catch fish to eat. Trout, flounder and redfish, and nobody says diddle when you fillet them up and take 'em home. If the weather sucks, I stay home. And if someone catches more than we do, that's good for them.
THAT is the beauty of fishing.

The bays are getting overrun by jokers in 80K cat hulls running 300's. They really think 65 is fast. What's funny, they'll pass us in my scooter, hahahaha, then I'll jump a sand bar and be setup and wading by the time ol' hot rod ran his channels to get into a back lake. Age and treachery overcomes youth and enthusiasm.

Nothing wrong with not being in a hurry. I air mine out every once in a while, but 40-50 mph is probably what I average on most days.

I'm in the retired club, come on in, the water is F I N E. 50+/- mph is just fine. Saw a bumper sticker last winter at my winter place in south Tejas, said "I'm retired, Go Around me".
