I got two over winter and broke one last week. Broke on a normal hook set. It's laying in my garage and I'm probably going to say screw it a d just stay away from them. The rod felt really nice.

Local tackle shop got in a big shipment of Enigma’s a while back. I was talking to the owner, picked one up, flexed the tip to check the action, it snapped.
He said not not to worry, he picked another one up, flexed it, it snapped.
He he picked up 2-3 more, flexed the tips, they snapped. He got pissed, took every rod out of the display, never put them in stock again.
Must have been a really old shipment of rods. Enigma stopped selling through dealers last year. Online and amazon/eBay only now. I have all Enigma in my rod locker, Ippons, HPTs and Atomic 29s. I’ve set the hook on many fish with all of them and have not broken a single one.
