    Mega transducer question.

Can a helix mega run a non mega transducer and work, just not have mega images? I wanted to run my new units this weekend, but don’t think I have time to get them installed before my tourney.
If not, I’ll just run what I have and get them installed next week

Yes, you have several transducer choices in the Connected Transducer list.

The G3N MEGA SI+ units have 19 transducer choices.

Hooked up units using the 998’s transducer and now I only have SI on the right side. Is that a setting?

Did you select High Definition Sidescan as the Connected Transducer and have both sides of the SI view selected?

I have both sides and selected. Right side shows fine left side is just dark. And I picked the right transducer. Did I need to swap the Y cable to my new one?

Ended up changing the transducer to the mega and adding the mega y cable and it seems like it’s ok now. If not, I’ll just have to graph on the right side this weekend. Lol
