    Passenger rod holder, pulled screw out

    I had someone accidentally knock the rod holder loose (the plastic piece that holds the rod butts in place), and it stripped out the screw. Any suggestions on how to fix? And is this piece that useful? The boat is new to me, and seems like it could easily get knocked loose.

    put a toothpick in the hole and see if it will tighten up

    If it's in the fiberglass, get some Marine Tex, https://amzn.to/2GrTYmX. Just mix it up fill the hole and re-drill it.

    You really dont have to use that piece. To us it's easier to stack up the passenger rods without it
