I have a Core 1199 CI HD and a flasher as my main units at the drivers seat. When running both units the 2D sonar on the 1199 gets some slight interference that mostly effects the depth reading but not too much of the picture and does not seam to effect the flasher with both units on. Both transducers are mounted in hull and right next to one another. I was hoping the Flasher would be running on a different frequency than the 1199 and there would be no problem but there was. The puck on the flasher is a 9 degree and that is what I have been running but on my trolling motor I have been running a 19 degree and I like the 19 degree better but the 9 degree is what came with the flasher so that is what used. I just ordered a 19 degree for the main console and want to mounting it farther away from the 1199 transducer but I'm not sure how far away it would need to be from the 1199 transducer.
Cone angle on the 9 degree was- 1.6 feet at 10 feet of water
3.2 feet at 20 feet of water
4.7 feet at 30 feet of water
The 19 degree will be
3.4 feet at 10 feet of water
6.7 feet at 20 feet of water
10 feet at 30 feet of water
